By choosing an MCIAC accredited training school you can be sure that the standards of training and customer service you receive will be amongst the best on offer. All MCIAC accredited schools have undertaken a rigorous programme of business improvement and are committed to delivering standards of training and customer service that by far exceed those prescribed by the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). The DVSA are the Government department in charge of setting standards for driving and motorcycling, licensing, testing and education services.
Customers of all MCIAC accredited ATBs have peace of mind, knowing that in addition to completing a comprehensive training course, all MCIAC schools are inspected annually (DVSA require that all Instructors are checked once every 4 years, by appointment). In addition MCIAC ATB customers are surveyed following their training. This ensures that the high standards of customer care required by MCIAC are maintained 365 days a year.
You can read more about why you should choose an MCIAC Accredited ATB here.
Look out for …
- MCIAC schools who have also put their instructors through an MCIAC instructor course. Details of this will be highlighted in the details for each training school.
- MCIAC schools which have achieved Gold Standard
(All MCIAC ATB’s meet our additional requirements, some may offer better facilities and reach Gold Standard, but all will ensure you receive high quality training).
The map below shows the ATBs who are currently MCIAC accredited or working towards their Accreditation. You can click on the categories tab to the right of the map to filter your choices to show either the Accredited ATBs who have reached our Gold Standard, the ATBs who have partially reached the Gold Standard and those who are still working towards their Accreditation. Alternatively you can type in your postcode and the number of miles you are willing to travel. The website will show any MCIAC training schools that match your criteria.
